Meet our River Falls volunteers

Benedikt Riedel grew up in Germany. After high school, he moved to California to study physics and economics at the University of Southern California, where he worked on solar physics at the Mount Wilson Observatory. He is now at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing his PhD in physics studying the neutrino signatures of exploding massive stars and enjoying the homier atmosphere that Madison has to offer.
